Our Location
Hotel Ancora is located in the municipality of Sanxenxo (Pontevedra), the main tourist destination in Galicia, in a fantastic coastal beach zone just 4 kilometers from the city center of Sanxenxo. Its privileged location allows guests easy access on foot to nearby beaches, such as Agra (800 meters from the hotel) and Areas (approximately 1 kilometer from the hotel). In addition, the coastal town of Raxó is 1 kilometer away, and the city of Pontevedra is just 13 km away.
By car:
Take highway AP-9 (Pontevedra-Vigo) and get off onto the coastal road toward Sanxenxo. Follow this road for 13 km, and Hotel Ancora will be on your right.
By public transport:
Guests may take the train to Pontevedra, and from the very same station, may take a bus that goes directly to the hotel. Passengers will be left only 500 meters from Hotel Ancora.
From the airport:
From the Vigo airport, you can take the bus to Pontevedra and then take the bus described just above, to the hotel. You can also take a bus directly from Vigo (47 km away), to Sanxenxo. Many guests opt to rent cars at the airport in order to move about the area comfortably.
